- Guide to Mormon Diaries and Autobiographies
- Davis Bitton’s guide was published in 1977 and is still one of the best resources available for locating Mormon Diaries in over a dozen U.S. repositories. By clicking the "Bookmarks" tab on the left, the user can use the table of contents to quickly jump through the document. By using the binoculars icon on the Adobe tools menu, the user can keyword search through the entire document which contains abstracts of nearly three thousand diaries and autobiographies.

- Joseph Smith Papers Project
- The Joseph Smith Papers Project comprises all important documents relating to Joseph Smith. The project will publish, according to accepted scholarly and documentary editing standards, documents created by Joseph Smith or by staff whose work he directed. The project also includes papers received and “owned” by his office. These key documents include, especially, the diaries, outgoing and incoming correspondence, revelations, contemporary reports of discourses, editorials, and notices.

- British Mormon Historical Society
- This resource is intended to promote the historical profile of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and of its members in the British Isles. This site has a threefold mission, first, to provide an extensive archive of primary sources, second to collate current historiography, and third to promote the writing of scholarly narratives concerning Mormonism in Britain.
- Encyclopedic History of the Church
- Andrew Jenson was the first to organize Latter-day Saint historical data into an encyclopedic form. This work is particularly valuable in providing brief histories of Church units from their beginnings up to 1930. Following the conference of August 28, 1852, Orson Pratt was called to preside over the Church in the eastern United States and to publish a magazine defending the principles of Mormonism, especially plural marriage. The result was The Seer, edited and published by Orson in Washington and simultaneously reprinted in Liverpool.

- George Edward Anderson Photograph Collection

- This BYU collection contains almost 13,000 images taken ca. 1878-1928, which includes studio and environmental portraits, mostly of Utah residents; Utah railroad and mining history (including the 1900 Scofield mine disaster); and LDS Church historic sites.
- Gospel Art Picture Kit
- The Gospel Art Picture Kit includes 160 pictures that depict scripture or Church history stories and illustrate gospel principles in action. The texts on the back of the pictures tell the stories or provide information about the pictures and usually give several scripture references for additional study. The pictures can be printed for classroom instruction.
- Museum of Church History and Art
- The Museum of Church History and Art tells the story of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints through educational exhibits and programs. The museum collects and displays Latter-day Saint art and artifacts worldwide in a way that offers an educational experience for the whole family.

- American Religion Data Archive
- The American Religion Data Archive (ARDA) is a project funded by the Lilly Endowment, Inc. and acts to preserve quantitative data on American religion, to improve access to this data, to increase the use of the data, and to allow comparisons across data files. The ARDA collection includes data on churches and church membership, religious professionals, and religious groups (individuals, congregations and denominations).
